Denmark Hill and Camberwell Walk 14th September

It looks like it will be an autumnal one. After weeks and weeks of sunshine, there is a sudden cooling of the days, just as I was thinking we were living in Keats’ poem Ode to Autumn, and like the bees, beginning to believe that “warm days will never cease”.
So we may see the turning of the leaves, the bright berries against the foliage, and
buildings lit by the low September sun. It should be lovely.

Meet me outside Denmark Hill overground station. I’ll be wearing my Blue Badge and carrying a clutch of London Walks leaflets.
The walk lasts around two hours and costs a bargain £9, even less if you are over 65 or a full-time student, then it is just £7.
I look forward to seeing you. 🙂
