Yarn Bombing in Museum Street WC1

I spotted this a few days ago in Museum Street, just south of the British Museum. I’ll be back there tomorrow afternoon, so will see if the
bollard is still clad in red.
It look very cosy in its knitted red jacket. If you look closely, you’ll see there is a cycle badge attached. Yarn bombers often use their craft to draw our attention to events and issues in a witty, decorative way. keep your eyes open, and you’ll start to notice it in all sorts of unlikely places.
To join me for a tour of the British Museum tomorrow afternoon, you’ll need to be outside Holborn tube station for 2.15. I’ll have some London Walks leaflets with me.
The tour lasts around two hours and costs £9, £7 for over 65s and full time students. If you pay full price and are planning to do several walks, ask me about a Walkabout card.
