Lots of chances to join me on these fine autumn days over the next week.
St Andrew Undershaft and the Gherkin
Tomorrow, Wednesday 29th:
This is London 10.30 exit 4 Westminster tube, described in the London Walks leaflet as
The Flash Bang Lightning Highlights Tour
Old London 2.15 exit 2 St Paul’s tube. This one ends at the Tower, and in addition to seeing the very moving poppy installation, you could wait and listen to the roll of honour at 16.55, which is what I am planning to do.
Friday 31st October:
No ghost walks for me, instead I shall be doing the pub walk Along the Thames starting at 7.00pm outside Blackfriars tube. This is a walk where we stop at pubs along the way, rather than a walk about pubs, if you take my meaning.
It’d be lovely to see you on one or all of the three public walks I am doing this week.
All you have to do is turn up at the tube station at the correct time, hand over £9 (£7 if you are over 65 or a full-time student), and I’ll take you for a walk lasting around two hours.

The London Walks Winter Programme will soon be hitting the streets. As usual I am leading a number of the repertory walks as well as those on the main programme.
I am thinking I should try to post each week about which other public walks I am doing, whether for LW or anyone else.
Tomorrow, Tuesday I am leading Old Westminster at 2pm, exit 4 Westminster tube
Here is the list, which some of you may already have from flyers I have given out. All the rest are private walks – you can always contact me here to book me if you and a group of friends or family want a walk to yourselves. If you want something other than is listed below, I may still be able to help.
I am then taking a break, and resuming after 20th October. Continue reading
Tomorrow afternoon join me at 2pm outside the Bakerloo Line entrance of the Elephant and Castle tube, London Road for a special, bargain priced (just £5) version of my walk Walking the Elephant as part of Elefest 2014.
