London has been utterly gorgeous today with blue skies and sunshine; warm enough to go out without even a coat. Fabulous. What a wonderful time to get out and about and explore the capital.
Tomorrow morning, Monday 9th, I shall be guiding Westminster Abbey. It is one of my favourite places, a beautiful church with abundant history, and a choir that is celebrated across the globe.
We’ll meet at Westminster tube exit 4 for a 10.45 start.
In the afternoon I shall be at the British Museum. This world famous museum is a constant souce of wonder. The collection is magnificent and intelligently displayed. We’ll meet outside Holborn tube for 2.15pm.
Friday 13th February may be unlucky for some, but I shall be leading the Hidden London walk from Monument tube at 11am. Another lovely walk that shows you just how much of London is subtly concealed if you don’t know where or how to look.
All walks cost just £9*, or £7 for over 65s and full-time students with ID and last around two hours.
*Plus entry fees where applicable.
