My, hasn’t the summer flown by!
I’ve had a holiday in Ireland, visiting family and catching up with friends.I was staying near the Sperrins, the lanscape dominated by Slieve Gallion which long ago I climbed during the hillwalking festival.
We went to the Titanic Exhibition which was excellent. I shall gladly go back and see it again.
At Hillsborough Castle which was wonderful, we enjoyed a tour of some of the rooms and visited the grounds. Unfortunately I forgot to take my camera.
London is busy with visitors, and with the fine weather the natives are enjoying being outside. There are various big screens where you can watch Rio 2016,, or just enjoy the sculptures around Bishopsgate.
While for younger visitors there is a trail of dream filled jam jars to prote the BFG, including this one by the Guildhall covered in pennies.
Back in the countryside, Cambridgeshire this time, the prize for best alternative use for a red phone box surely belongs here.
