I am delighted to announce that I shall be leading my guided tour, Walking the Elephant, around the Elephant and Castle tomorrow afternoon as part of this year’s Elefest. After a two year gap, Elefest is back with a whoop and the promise of good weather. Rob has dusted off the logos, printed the flyers and recruited musicians, storytellers, dancers and disc spinners to celebrate the Elephant.
There’s food, a free outdoor evening screening of The Wizard of OzMy old friend Danny Walters will be Doing; you are invited to bring your own brass to join in with the Alabama3 Acoustic; John Constable and I are leading walks.
My tour Walking the Elephant starts at 2pm from Castle Square and costs a bargain £5. John kicks off at the same place thirty minutes earlier with a Charlie Chaplin themed walk that also costs just £5.
NB: photography is allowed on my tour, but not of me. Remember, the Elephant never forgets…
