The week’s public walks, from 13th May 2018

As well as leading walk for families, companies and individuals, I lead a number of tours where members of the public can join me and pay an individual fee. Today, Saturday, I was working in the Palace of Westminster, aka the Houses of Parliament; a prestigious establishment and one that happily kept me out of the rain.

If the weather forecast is correct, I should remain dry tomorrow too, as the rain is due to die away as I begin C the City at 10.45 outside St Paul’s tube station, exit 2.

On Tuesday at 2pm you can meet me at Tower Hill tube for Plague, Fire and Revolution; Saturday 19th t’s a rare outing for The Cut at 10.45am meeting outside Southwark tube; Sunday 20th I’m at Tower Hill station again, and again at 2pm for Ancient London. Would you believe on Monday I shall once more be at Tower Hill tube, this time (for variety is the spice of life) for Greenwich at 10.15am.

Al the above tours cost just £10 per person, with an additional £6.50 to pay the boat fare for the Greenwich tour.

I look forward to catching up with you.

  1. Hi Isobel, you were our guide in the Parliament couple of weeks ago. My husband and daughter are working today, but I’m eager to explore more of London.

Are you taking a group to Greenwich today? How long is the tour? Is the return (by boat) flexible?

    Thank you –
    Daphne

    1. I’m so sorry Daphne, I have only just seen your comment. I was guiding Greenwich yesterday. One of us does it every Monday, meeting at Tower Hill at 10.15, finishing inGreenwich at 1.00.
You could certainly get a boat back, either a City Cruise boat or a Thames Clipper. The timetabl s should be available online. You could alternatively take the DLR. I am next doing the Greenwich public tour 4th June.
