Mayflower400

Next year marks 400 years since the Mayflower set sail for the New World carrying a variety of passengers, including famously a group of people relocating for religious reasons. We call them the Pilgrim Fathers. Around the globe places associated with this historic journey are commemorating it with talks, walks, events starting this year.

With my Blue Badge Guide colleague Chris, I shall be leading walks in and around Rotherhithe for Heritage and Arts.

Heritage and Arts has been appointed by Southwark Council to deliver this part of the commemorations. So we shall be delivering the official tours, researched and developed in conjunction with the London Borough of Southwark, you can book tours via the Heritage and Arts website.

For more information about the programme of events, attractions and activities as part of the Mayflower 400 London programme the mayflower400.London website is your first port of call. .
